Thumbs up A 70S gets a new home

Well gents. All the sage advice I have been quietly gathering over the last three years seems to have paid off! I thank you all! I just paid for this years advise by sending my check for membership.

Went down to Bakersfield and picked up my new ride Saturday. She's a bit of miss and match but, 95% complete and original if you overlook the black repaint. No offense to Herr Panzer's sweet ride which she mostly resembles now but, I am definitely going back to the silver.

The repaint was done in 75 along with the 73 look attempt. All easily redone. Original pristine floors and undercoat as well. (which will lead to my first request for advice in a later thread) It was found in a storage unit that went in a lien auction. Been stored since '85. I am the second owner since 75 and I am going to investigate from 70-75.

It's Magic Hour. Wish me luck and be gentle....It's my first time.

    Michael - Congratulations and welcome!!

The real obsession now begins! Nights, weekends, holidays, early morning hours when you work on your S look at the clock and say, "oh sh!t, it's that late already?!"

You found your heroin, now lets see if you can ever escape!

Now where did I put that spoon?

By the look of it you found a very nice car. One that is worthy of being restored. If U havn't restored a car before welcome to the process...
