    driving my T

Hope you all don't mind, but this board has been so helpful to me and an integral part of my ownership I just wanted to share a bit.....NY has been a bit milder so I put my Corbeau in and took car out yesterday......112 miles later I came home!........the seat really was awesome and promoted enthusiastic driving. Even tho I am running a "lowly' T, the response and sound of this engine is just intoxicating......once my seat gets lowered and my RS steeering wheel project gets done I will fantasize I am driving an S/T......want to post some pics soon....thanx to all.

Don`t sell the T short. All 911 rule! I drive a 71T and the sound of that engine is pure music!
Join the S registry. You will find that these guys love all things Porsche. It`s also a great source of information. Now go DRIVE!

Driving a 911T is absolutely fun. We (my brother and I) have a 1971 911T and it is absolutely fun. I also have the impression that most people adore a 911RS and a 911S but a 911E / L is tollerated, and a 911T is only suited to turn into a RS replica.

The engine sound is magnificant for a T as well. When I'm driving under a fly-over I open the windows, shift down and accelerate, the sound is reverberated against the walls and it is brilliant.

Currently we are not able to drive the car because we are restoring it into original condition.
Even the Porsche specialist we deal with admits that for day-to-day usage the 911T is very well suited because the engine is not as peaky as a 911S item is.

    Greetings,

    Sander

I have to agree. I drove a T for the first time for many years yesterday. Just a 2.2 but it makes a lovely noise and is quite fast enough to have fun.
