    Cam Identification

What are the Part ID #'s stamped on the shaft centers?
The ID's will tell you what the shafts were originally ground to. However, it is possible that thye cams have been reground to different spec's. Only way to know if the cams have been reground is to have them analyzed. Webcam can do this for you and tell you exact lift, duration etc. They will also regrind them for you for around $400 and up.
    Hope that helps.

When you get the numbers put them up here. I had the same problem with the cams in my engine. They didn't have a Porsche parts #, instead I was able to figure out the #'s were from Web Cam after I discussed with several guys here.
