    Gus @ Pacific

Gus has had my injection pump for a month. He said it would be to me this week and no pump. Any suggestions on how to light a fire under Gus without burning myself?

    Rick,

It's been my experience that Gus's time estimates were pretty close...
... And if his turnaround is only 4 weeks.. that ain't bad... back in May when I had him do my RS conversion it was 7 weeks.
Coincidently Matt Blast's turnaround was the same on the throttle bodies ... 7 weeks later I got my pump and throttle bodies back within 2 days days of each other..

I would give him a call and see where you are in the queue ...or hopefully he already shipped it, shipping for UPS-Ground is usually 2 days from NorCal to SoCal ... probably a little longer to you...

I've found Gus to keep very good records as to where everything is both in the shop and in transit..... and be very reasonable over the phone...

    Good luck,

Since you're asking.....I'd leave it alone! Gus knows you're waiting, and good things are worth the wait. He is going to make it perfect. Send a check to him for your anticipated bill now and a quick note thanking him for his work. Ask him to call you before he ships - your phone will ring the day he gets your check and the pump will be on the way. Good luck.
