    Green Coil Decal

Question, when did they go from a yellow to green coil decal on the 911's? '64, '65, '66?

    Thanks,
    John

Not sure if any of these threads help. Looks like the some posts were removed from the first link below, but looks like some time in 65 it went from yellow to green. My family owned 65 #300423 from 1971 to 2000 so I'll see if we have any pics engine where I can see the coil (although doubtful). Seems to be a carryover from the 356 as our 65 356 has the yellow sticker.

It might be when they changed from TK numbering (yellow) to 0221xxxxxx

Thanks guys, that answers my question! I've always had the yellow on my '65 and some one was telling me it should be green.
