    I have been told the lights were available in either chrome ring or black. If one is willing to extrapolate from the photo ad, the car actually has the black ring driving lights , as the headlight rings shine chrome

    This is Vic Elford's Monte Carlo car with black rim Cibie Pallas lights. 1968 I think.
