    Oh, I got it...

On the Early S web site...

VIN. 9111301310 with the snow in the background...

    Well Joe,

Unless someone knows the car by sight and area then the other way is to try to look it up in your Early 911S Registry ROSTER that you get with your membership in this club... If you are a member and have tried to look it up and it's not there, then you'll have to rely on our members knowledge of the car....

My roster is at home... I'll take a look when I get there…

    The site also states:

    1971
    S Coupe
    Conda Green
    9111301310
    ss (sport seats)
    excellent original
    Minneapolis

    I believe

that this car is no longer in Minn and now lives in the PNW with one of our members. I don't know if he wants his name publicized, however, I do know he frequents the board so maybe he will post...

I was going to ask if those amber headlight lenses are legal in the USA?
That's a good question. I was thinking it looked awefully nice on a green car ...

I dunno if they're "legal" or not, but many USA cops tend to turn a blind eye on equipment when a car has "special interest" or "antique" plate tags. The rules vary from state to state, but may be worth checking out. The only place these lenses are required is France. I'm not fond of France these days, so I think I'll stick with clear lenses on my H-1's. But wait! How about Spain??? Maybe they just went "yeller" as well?
