yes, auto's international did the seats.

when covered the sport seats don't look that different but under the skin as they say, the frame work is night and day.

The 4.5" Fuchs have black paint in the webs by the lugnuts. It's just more restrained than the wider wheels.

Those seats look great (as does the car)
Ahhh, I stand corrected. For some reason I was thinking it was a light grey detail paint but now I remember seeing the black between the lugs.

    Sam:

Thanks for the educational slide show. I have heard that the bases for the 73 sport seats are really heavy. When I had my seats sent to Autos, I left the bases behind for Mike to blast and repaint. Eric suggested that I also send Autos the tracks from the car so that they could plate those along with the headrest posts.

Boy, there is a lot of work that Autos does on those frames when they take them apart!!!

Eric and Sam are among the world's reigning experts on sport seats and well-qualified to be founding (and the only?) members of the Super Secret Seat Police.

Not sure there's a big line forming to be members of that group though!

    Dick,
I think I am going to apply for a position with the SSP. Sam and Eric would drool if they saw my stash. I wonder how many 65-73 sport seats you need to own to become a honarary member?
