    RS 1156

If I can shed some light on this matter. I personally know the
current owner here in Quebec. The car is still his and does not belong to Mr. Sloan.
Mr. Sloan is just trying to broker the car and make a few buck out
of it. My friend said the car will go for much lower than $145 K.

The story about the car is simple, The car served for racing
purposes back then . This is why the sunroof and all unnecessary
electricl stuff was deleted. But the owner at the time had kept
all the parts in the event it would be turned back into a streetable
    car.
The work was effectively done in Louisianna by a reputable shop and no expenses were spared to put it back together. They
used Guenuine Porsche Parts to restore it.
The actual color is India red ( not raspberry as it was originally ).

The owner did Polished all the Fuchs including the spare . This is
    a personal choice I guess.
Any info needed on this particular car , please direct to me and I`ll
    ask the owner directly.

BTW He said the car will probably show up in Panorama `s mart
    in a couple weeks.

I will second that. Wow! A modern "R" look w/ all the best bits from this century.... at $110K, though, I would have to look twice at a GT3, notwithstanding Frank's post about how magical his RS is to drive compared to the GT3.

Damn, I remember that car when it was around 100K. He must be hoping for a European buyer as the dollar/euro exchange rate is more favorable going that way. No dice. I smell a fishing trip.

    Sloan is scary

Any car from this guy scares me. The fact that people here know this car gives it a lot more credibility in my mind then anything Sloan could ever say about it.

It is what it is and at least people have pieced together some history on the car in order to let people here make a fair assessment.

I have just seen too many slimy moves from Sloan. IMHO he’s the kind of guy that gives car dealer a bad name.

Don you are very right, i was reading today on the Porsche classic magazine that comes out here in spain, they ,where comparing both cars,, an Rs 73 an Gt3 at the end the guy said the same thing you did, that even though the GT3 is a great car he would end up keeping the Rs for thee feel of the drive.
