well, well, for so many of you that may have not ever seen this car or know it's history, it's amazing how quickly you guy's can pass judgement on the car and /or it's restoration. are you saying that a quaility restoration cannot be done in LA/new orleans? are you saying that because it has a 911/83 replacement case (no numbers) it isn't worth the money? after seeing so many rs tourings where people have removed such items as sport seats, door panels/pockets, carpeting, power windows,etc. in favor of a "light weight" interior whats all the fuss about!
if you want a "REAL" origional to the last bolt car, spend the $225K-$250K and be done. as for the shop that did the work i know for a fact that they are a quailty/highly reputable/knowledgeable porsche only vintage racecar/restoration shop. they can only do the work the owner has the money/desire to do!
