    911L sold for a premium...

    this was a bit surprising to me. didn't know the L could command this kind of money. looks like a nice car. a few missing parts that are easily replaceable and a few white lies about being original. overall a real looker.

    With quality early 911s getting harder and harder to find, and the growing appreciation for the torguey 2.0 non-S engine, I think (and hope) we'll be seeing more of these higher resale prices.

    In comparison to what the market has been, yes it seems high.

    When you think of what other cars $18.5K would buy you, it seems like a lot of car for the $.

    If a '67S can be worth $50k, who's to say a nice L is priced too high at $18k. The market determines the price. As long as I can still ferret out the bargains for $1k, I hope the mainstream market keeps going up!
