    Price check

    I been lurking here a while. Been contemplating a pre 73 911S or an early 356.

    Does anyone have an opinion one way or the other regarding European Collectibles www.europeancollectables.com?

    How about the 1967 911S they currently have with an asking price of $29.5k?

    That car has been for sale for a while, several venues. There have been some previous posts about it, do a search here and on Pelican. Supposedly ex Francis Ford Coppola car. Haven't seen the car or had business with the dealer.

    As with any seller, have a good PPI done by a reputable shop familiar with early cars.

    There's been much discussion about that car and whether it's overpriced but I don't remember if anyone on this board (or any other) has actually DRIVEN it. (Call me crazy but I would never buy a car without driving it first.)

    And Max, before you make a purchase, do yourself a favor and drive a T, an E, and an S because each have pluses and minuses depending on your specific use. Daily driving? Sunday driving? Auto-X/track driving?
