    Thorsten,

    Congrats on getting it registered.

I was wondering though why you waited to get it registered before driving it around. I knew several people in France and Germany that kept their US plates and drove around for ages before finally registering their cars there. Have German authorities stopped that? Those km are sure going to be expensive at 1+ Euro/liter. Enjoy

    Thumbs up R Gruppe decals

    Thorsten,

Don't worry buddy, I got a batch of R Gruppe decals made. I'll bring some to Daytona.

    Season authorities...

Well, I actually would have taken my ride out - for a California plates experience in Stuttgart... Registration is paid until June anyway... ; )))
But ice and snow said NO... especially a bad European habit of throwing tons of salt on icy streets in wintertime. No good for a 30 year old beauty - and a reason for her being so lonely out here...
F models are soooo... rare here, and that explains that everybody seems to be so happy to see mine! Even the noise level seems to be accepted, no shaken heads so far, only thumbs up... thats FUN! Though some people find it hard to believe that 'she' really is 30 years old!
Dick... I will work on that R homeland get together, as soon as the weather will be more stable...
But first I will get more inspiration seeing you guys - the big bunch!
