    chain guides (ramps)

Hi everybody! This forum has been a fantastic source of information for the first-time porsche owner! I need to change the timing chain guides on my 72 911 t (euro). From what I have read,(Bruce Andersons performance handbook.etc.) there are 5 black(pt#911.105.222.06) and 1 brown(#911.105.222.05). When ordering the parts from the Porsche dealer, I was told that there is only 1 type, being the brown for all 6. Does the brown ones now supersede the black? can I use the brown in all 6 places? Any help here would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

This is taken from the Pelican Parts ( http://pelicanparts.com ) tech articles under the Carrera chain tensioner upgrade section:

"There are also two different types of chain ramps – use the black ones everywhere except for the slightly different brown ramp which is installed on the lower right."

Thanks Zeke. Thats what I thought I had read so I called back the Porsche dealer today and they still maintain that all six ramps are the same Part #, that of the brown one.
