    Rob,

I'll second what Nick said. I have a pair of 7R wheels at Harvey's being refinished and they both had a stenciled part #. The bummer is the refinishing process takes that off. Harvey will restamp them though for an additional charge. I decided not to bother doing that.

I've owned 14 R wheels, and none of them had a part number cast into them. On some of them I could find the part number stenciled/inked, on others the wheels had been restored , and you could no longer see the part number, on others the part number had simply faded away.

Anyone have an extra (single) 4.5 fuch in nice condition? Would like a spare to replace the steel one.

While taking the spare out of my '67S for an autox this weekend, I took a close look at the back and I have both raised (embossed) part numbers and fuchs logo AND a red stencil of the 901 part # and "4 1/2 J x 15" on another spoke. This wheel is original to the car (#306831S). Don't know what exactly this means except perhaps there was a transition period where they did both?
