Well, this speaks to being management and having skilled staff available. I took my 944 jack, and had our machine shop mill the bump off of the top. That created a flat surface to mate with the jackplate. Then they took some heavyweight shock absorption pad (it is rubberized, and about 1/2" thick) and cut it to the size of the flat top of the jack.

The pad was then screwed down (countersunk) so that it wouldn't touch the jackpad under weight.

That's what I get for being management and having too much Porsche on my mind.
