    69 Dash core?

Does anyone have a pic of '69 dash core? Is it the exact same one-piece dash core as 65-67 dash core?

    Many thanks,
    Al

Nope, 69 dash is different than 68 and earlier. 69 thru 73 were all the same.

Actually they were not I found out by purchasing a speaker grille to fit my 69 dash which it did not and then purchased another 69 dash core which had the same size speaker grille as my original 69
but again different to the 70 - 73 speaker grille

Not sure if there are other differences as well.

Then I stand corrected, they were different from the 68 and back as far as their method of attachment and material, but I confess I didn't know about the speaker grill size.

Yes I thought I waa going mad when i bought this nice speaker grille for the 69S but it didn't fit but after buyig the 2nd dash
I relaised that they had to be different...longer and thinner I think, from memory, for the 69 grille.

Sounds fimilar, I belive you are right Clyde. My 69 speaker grille doesn't fit any other dash.... Another 69 only part. I belive they were superceeded very early to the 70-73.

mounting tabs for the speaker grille are significantly different, too, more like clips on the grille versus the studs on the later grilles.
