    Paint code plate reinstallation question

    Hi,

    Roy, who is restoring my 911, is more of a 356 expert than a 911 expert. He was wondering how to rivet the paint code plate back on the door jam. In a 356 you can reach the back side of the jam, but on a 911 it is fully boxed.

    Any tips? I know it's minor, but it was something he had a question about.

    I didn't find anything searching here or Pelican.

    I think I would superglue or epoxy the rivet heads on the plate and install the plate with 2 sided tape.
