    Early 911 S Identification Plate

My 1971 S identification plate is different from my 1971 T ident plate. Oh I know that sounds stupid but aside from the T and S designations, there is an additional line at the bottom of the plate. First there is the zul.Gesamtgewicht kg 1400 on both plates. The T plate has an additional line below the zul.Gesamtgewicht kg 1400. zul.Zuggewicht kg 2000. The S plate does not have this. It is a smaller plate. Is this normal/O.K ?

    Thanks
    David

It is the id plate that is riveted in on the front panel (trunk). Interesting, what plate goes in the engine compartment ?
