Just a "head's up"- the 18mm rear ARB from the early Turbos have a little bend in the middle to clear the 930 4-speed tranny. They aren't exactly the same as the 18mm bars from the '74-77 911S, but I think they would still work on an early car. I haven't tried one, though, I've always been able to find the straight 18mm bars at junkyards fairly easily for about $75. I'm using one now on my '67S, along with the 18mm front bar from the early Turbo (which is exactly the same as the early S through-the-body bar, except for the diameter.)

On the '73 track car I am using a 19mm Weltmeister adjustable in the front and a 21mm fixed rear bar from the 3.2 Carrera, which requires a custom linkage for the droplinks to the trailing arm.

A tip for guys pawing through wrecked-em yard bars...take an open end wrench with you...18mm if looking for an 18mm bar, and so on. Instant, and accurate measuring.
