    any ideas ? applied after passing tech @ LeMans ?

    I think you're right... a conformity decal, probably around 1980? ACO logos up to the '70s and after the '90s are fussier designs.

    Could be any ACO event, LeMans stickers I've seen (recent ones) have "24" prominent.

    Either way, neat item!
