    67S rear spring plate bushings

I changed my rear spring plate bushings on my 67 911S and ordered bushings going by the Weltmeister catlog in pelican parts and got inner bushings that do not fit properly I checked my factory book page SR31 shows 911S with chassis # past 305 101 S use the 69-76 inner bushing ( which is the same outer bushing from 65-89). So if you have a 67-68S you can order Neatrix bushings or any bushing that fits the 69-76 911 cars. Once again only non S 911 cars used the little inner bushing from 65-68. I hope this saves some one else time , Fritz

I'm not the official greeter and welcoming committee, but welcome and thanks for the heads up. I might have fallen into that confusion at some point. I'm going thru suspension right now.

Thanks for that. I will be doing this job soon on a 68S, which I guess is the same

Thanks for the welcome guys, this is my first early s I used to think that a s was just bolt on parts to a regular tub, in the 67-68 model years we have the interesting combination of short wheel base rear fenders and late model torsion tube. It really helps to have a place to get help like this, I am glad to add my "two bits"

    Timely info!

Thanks Fritz, I'll likely use this tidbit of info in the next month or so on my '68. Welcome aboard.
