Thread: The right semi-gloss black paint

Scott, have you talked to that guy way out on the west side of town? Amur, I think? I'm sure he'll reduce the price for that many pieces. When I did my tin, I don't think it was very expensive (at least not compared to the PMOs and etc.).

    Randy-
I used armur for my fan, fan housing, and valve covers (I know, thermal issues, but man they look good!). I was pleased with the results, but had to have the fan and housing redone, as the 1/2" x 2" color sample they had to work from proved to be inadequate. The first color was horrendous! The second time around was much better. Armur has a very limited selection of colors. I'm glad to hear that you had good results. Did you have your tin done in semi gloss black?

Black in a few shades of gloss should not be a problem with the PC guy. Weird colors can be. I have a PC that only does black and you have to take your stuff to him blasted. He is dirt cheap, like $10-15 a wheel.

Scott, your mask sounds good enough, especially if you're outside like me.
