    I'm no expert . . .

The price is up over $14,000 and he still isn't at the reserve . . . .OHMIGOSH, I can buy a complete engine freshly rebuilt for less than that!! Maybe I am just not experienced enough to appreciate what he is offering for sale.

But if you bid, be careful.

I also reverse the right to block any bidder with bad feedback.
You don't want to be reversed, do you??

I emailed the seller several times with specific questions/requests for more detailed photos & spoke to him on the phone.

There were many inconsistences between what was stated in his ebay description & the parts themselves - very few of the parts (if any) are 911R parts...

I may be ultra-suspicious but I suspect that the high bidder (clairenz) is his girlfriend (check her feedback & the type of items she's bought) & has been used to bump up the bidding on this & some of his other 'rare 911R' parts - such as the:

"Porsche 911r 1967 NIB VDO 10000 RPM Tachometer NR"

    - that's a later tacho (dated 11/72)!!

    ri-i-i-i-ight...

$15,000 buy-it-now price, reserve not met at $14,450.... Just doesn't make sense. Of course there might be a *very* strong local market for quasi-real, alsmost correct 911R components. You'd think $14,450 would satisfy the greediest of sellers.

You're right Larry, don't drop the soap, don't want to get "reversed"!!
