Holes in 911S front spoiler - what are they for?

Wires for foglights, one should think, but I can not recall ever have seen a 911 with this type of bumper + foglights.

they are for the bumper over riders or "bumperettes" to mount to where fitted

Fog lights either are mounted through the horn grills (normally) or under the bottom of the spoiler (there are two mounting holes each side on genuine spoilers)

There are plastic plugs, thank you, but the look will be cleaner without them. The body is undergoing restauration anyway.

    One less 'original' front spoiler.

    I prefer Michael's path.

I had an S bumper resprayed and chose to weld up the lower holes for the overrider. If not using overriders, I like the cleaner look without holes. Replaced the rubber bumper strip as well because it had holes for the upper bolts for the overriders. If you ever wanted to reverse the process, it would not be hard to re-drill the holes. For the upper hole, it is easy to find the right spot because the aluminum deco strip has the hole location. For the lower hole, there is a corresponding "inner" hole on the backside of the bumper - the lowest of the three holes where the bumper bracket mounts. The long lower bolts for the overriders pass through this hole and then through the outer hole. So easy fix to restore originality if you decide to add the overriders later.
