    The gold 911R was featured in the June '92 issue of Excellence by Kerry Morse, and is number 9118990015R. It is the 15th R built and is one one of two that were delivered in a color other than white.

    I'd swear that when I was a kid of maybe 15 or 16 I remember seeing an article in a VW or Porsche or VW/Porsche magazine about this car. I can see it in my mind. The guy who owned was driving it and the magazine did a brief about what the car was and that it was rare. Still, it didn't click with me until years later.
