    I'll be there

I'm looking forward to the HSR race at CA Speedway. The track is fun to drive!

Don't miss out on seeing some early 911's go racing.

    Hey guys,

    It's 5 days before the event !!!!

Talked to John D. last night and it seems we have only about 12 cars confirmed ...

I realize that this might be a 'last minute' kind-a deal but John needs to have a pretty accurate head count for the tickets...

It would be great if all the local Early-S/R-Gruppe guys attend ...

And ... how bout looking into your Porsche address books and contact any and all that would like to make this event a success.

A small turn out makes John's job harder for the next time...

If you're coming out PLEASE contact John ASAP....

Cheers, ... and see ya out there...

Count me in, it'll be a 2 hour rip on the 15 north from San Diego in my "freeway felony" or "moving citation". The wipers and muffler have been reinstalled.
I'll remove the covered front turn signals if stopped.

Any of you guys looking for some shade and a cold drink or two are welcome to stop by my pit and hang with an early car race weekend participant.

Look for my red #12 shown here: #12 Car pics web page

Also- while the whole day will have great cars on the track, those of us in the 2.0L Porsche challenge have the following run times:

Friday 8:50am untimed and 1:55pm timed qualifying runs
Saturday 10:30am and 4:00pm qual race
    Sunday 10:30am main race

    See you there.

I emailed John but didn't hear back. Should I assume I'm good to go (as long as I have cash on Saturday)? My '79 is "early in spirit" (it says so in my sig), and my 7 year old and I are in for the count if short noses are allowable.

    I'll be there...

I'm looking forward to going again. I'll be leaving downtown LA about 630 if anyone from the Westside or Pasadena area want to caravan...
