Frank, you are getting closer. However, the overreaction here is surprising. There is no drama. There is no need for anyone to get their britches in a twist. I'm only protecting myself and my business. I have informed those involved with why I am leaving the forum and they can do with that what they wish.

So far, I have only deleted some old posts on threads I started - mostly having to do with parts sales. I did not want those numbers available anymore. When I came across this thread, it seemed important to share - but maybe it isn't compared to what people like to talk about here...

Interesting that you’re assuming the response here is an “overreaction”. When someone claims “this will be my last post” oftentimes that’s an emotional reaction from a temper tantrum or pity party. Your obvious refusal to honor those words backs up my point.

OK, per Jack Olson's suggestion, here's a new thread to carry on the discussion we were having under "Gary Emory Campout" regarding the idea of a track day at Laguna during the week before or after R Gruppe Monterey 2005.

So who's interested, and if we have enough entrants what do we do next. Get Cris' approval and contact Bruce Hermann?

The last 20 years tuning, tracking and touring with old Porsches sure has been fun.
