    early dash question

I just purchased a used dash for a 73 I have. I have a 72 and 73 that both have the removable speaker cover. This one does not. What year would this be for? It supposedly came out of a 72 so I guess it will fit.

    Thanks.

The factory made replacement dash tops with holes in the top (no cover) ... and without holes or cover (I have one of those in my car)

When I originally did my car in '90 the factory dash tops with covers were VERY hard to get and VERY expensive...

If you want to do it original ... ALL dash tops had speaker covers even if it was radio-delete .

    Hope this helps,

An alternative...find a cracked dash from a car being parted out...you must also have it's speaker cover. Then go to www.justdashes.com These people, taking twice as long as promised, remanufactured a '71 dash for my friend Evren. Comparing it to my still original dash? If I didn't have to pull the windshield, I'd have made Evren an offer for a switch...
