Sorry if this has been covered here already...

Can anyone tell me what process these chaps are using to refinish the wheels? i.e. how do they strip them, what paint are they using (clear coat?), what about anodising? Has anyone done their own wheels?

    Thanks.

    just do not...

ever use these guys wheel enhancement.

Ask me how I know. Just one rock, sent the right way, into my left front egg beater, should not have chipped that much finish off.

...well here's what a roll of masking tape, an exacto knife, a can o' colour and 2 hours of your life can do for your Fuchs (these were all black this morning):

    Purist Alert

Probably didn't save myself any time or money, I have seen at least one site where they will paint them for $25 a wheel...

Anyway, I took them off the car, cleaned them, taped them up, cut out the star with an exacto knife, then sprayed them with zinc paint... It's not perfect and I might do it again but it looks great from 10' away and I learnt something and it cost me $12 (total, not per wheel ), Have since driven about 350 miles, no problems...
