    Starting point, July 2019:

    October 2019

    November 2019

Today - Getting close to being a ride again.

Not quite the same type of project as many seen here. The car will be a driver, so very few NOS parts. Plenty of repro, where function is correct and with reasonably close appearance. Some may not agree with this approach, but this car is for me to enjoy. How others see it is secondary.

Just seven months later, re-assembly about to commence... thrilled to get the car back to it's original color. I love slate grey. Why do some make a color change in their restoration?

I don't know. I suppose it seems to make some sense at the time. Taking my car from cheap resale red back to the original silver was a no-brainer decision. Seeing it in silver just makes me happy. Your slate gray is beautiful.

My reassembly is a bit farther along, but the disassembly wasn't as complete either. Headliner starts going in this weekend, then dash and glass.

Getting ready for some auto crossing and track days this summer. 1969 911T, 2.4 with carbs, sport exhaust. Originally purchased around 2000. I just installed this race seat I had laying around the garage and I'm almost done putting in modern, 3-point inertia belts.
