My red 87 in the background and my 72T (with 77 2.7l engine) in the foreground. Still trying to sort out the 72T...non-starting and draining the battery, most likely alternator, and running in the 245-250º range...thermostat? She is currently in NJ and will be going straight to Performance Automotive, a shop outside of Philadelphia recommended by some board members, when we get up there in a week or so.

My first Porsche. A '66 912 converted decades ago to a six. Currently no engine. So a 911-badged 912 in need of an engine. Set up for a six so converting it back seems silly. On the lookout for a nice running 2.2. Any tips? Joe

Wow, nice clean car. Good luck finding a good motor! Looks like a very deserving cah.

Thanks, Jens. I'm struggling to decide what to do with it. A 2.2 seems the obvious choice, but there seem to be many more carbed 2.7s available on Craigslist. Would that cause me any trouble aside from the need for a front cooler?

Acquired this 73E Targa recently from original owner. Includes all paperwork from day 1! Came with cookie cutter wheels but looks much better with this set of fuchs.
All original except for one excellent Auto Associates paint 4 years ago. Cibie's were added after purchase.
