New U.K. member here saying hi! I’ve recently purchased this:

1972 RHD 911E, chassis number 9112200299, converted to a 74 RS by Bob Watson in the late 90’s with the current spec as follows:
G50 box,, 950kg, IROC look, Custom Cages FIA historic welded rollcage, Heated windscreen, Polycarbonate windows, GRP roof, front wings, bonnet and engine cover, AP brake calipers front, 3.3 turbo rear (930)
930 trailing arm, Motec M48 ecu, Kaaz plate diff, 4.00 final drive (~150mph max), Mocal oil cooler, Ohlins adjustable dampers, 30mm elephant racing rear torsion bars, 22mm elephant racing front torsion bars, Adjustable anti roll bars, elephant racing rear, porsche front, Stack instruments, Momo wheel, 8” &, 9” Fuchs, Michelin TB5 tyres

    Engine spec is:

3.8l 964 engine – built by Jonny at unit eleven and mapped by wayne schofield,
Schrick cam 040, GT3 Mk1 crank, GT3 oil pump, Carrillo Con rods, 993 Mahle Forged pistons and barrels, uprated valve springs, Jenvey ITBs throttle bodies, 350bjp at the wheels.

I’ve now fitted replica Recaro 1328 seats from Historika with all correct runners etc, had exact replica REPA harnesses made and fitted a 380mm fat rim hockey puck steering wheel. It’s also had a fuel safe racing cell fitted and a new RSR oil cooler.

Well I've had this old girl for 23 years, not for sale goes to my grandson. She has 239,000 miles on the aubergine, original color, chassis. I originally started by removing weight, now 2210 with 1/2 tank. All the suspension has been upgraded even aluminum trailing arms. I worked with Mike Bruns in Florida, twin plugs and Weber's. After two days on the engine dyno, 245hp. I didn't care for the Fuchs, looks like everyone else and I grew up on road racing when Mini lights were king so these are Australian super lites. Excellent wheels as I have run track days for 10+ years both on the east coast and the west coast.

Again I'm not a purist so I like a little personality. I looked at www.flickr.com/groups/vintage911racecars for a long time before I came up with this stripping. This old girl is unique and a little sleeper with 9:1 power to weight.

Got the local Woodside CA AirCooledAmigos out in force this last Sunday morning. Results were stupendous. Skyline, down and back up Highway 9, lots of vistas and Redwoods.
