    Here's the plan, Detroit area folks can meet up here for the drive to the Whitmore Lake breakfast.

    Meet at 8:00 am - fabulous strip mall parking lot in front of Circuit City on Telegraph Road, just north of I-696. We'll leave promptly at 8:15am for Gloria's Fine Home Cooking, 9am arrival.

    All who want to come along are welcome!

    Oh man don't I know it. This has been very frustrating to say the least. Thank God for my bike and beer (not necessarily in that order) for stress relief. The repairs and projects are coming down to the wire for the trip this weekend. Even if completed I am nervous to drive 3 plus hours to Pickney and back in a 31 year old car that hasn't been driven in 8 months. Someone may have to drive west on I-94 to rescue me if there is a breakdown.

    JCR, yes, and I had hoped to join you guys, and meet the Detroit contingent. But that isn't to be. You will have to P2P without me.

    Hopefully my car will be done in enough time for us to do a get together in late fall, before the snow flies, so that I can show off the car I have been raving about for nearly a year.

    Looks like we may be in for a bit of rain late morning/early afternoon.
    Report from accuweather.com - and, I have found them to be pretty accurate.

    It is raining hard here in Northwest Indiana, about 3 hrs. west of Pinckney and is supposed to rain most of the day. Doesn't bode well for getting on the road for a shake down run.

    Latest is rain ending at 8AM, partly cloudy in the morning and sun after lunch. Of course, 6 hours from now I'm sure there will be an entirely different forecast .....

    So, do we still meet at 8? Or push it back a little bit? I say go for it, I've driven through downpours with my top off with no problems!
