He11 Sithot just paint the Chevy Truck Guards Red, put the Porsche script on the back, and an R Gruppe sticker in the window and U can pass it off as an R Gruppe modified special....U can claim it was a one off 911R ....and noone will know the difference.

Tom, Truck sounds great! Ahhh, the joys of the stovebolt six! A fun mod? Split exhaust and intake manifolds...I know a guy in Salem who runs 356 carbs on a dual intake on his '51 (I think) Chevrolet 1/2 ton. Winked when he told me he had the carbs as spares for his Speedster, and was too cheap to buy a pair of Strombergs.

Hah, don't tempt me, I've got a whole slew of other cars that I am ready to blow my money on. I've always been tempted by those trucks, if only had some purpose... something to do with them. Same story with a VW Microbus and Citroen 2CV. And a suicide door 60's Lincoln Continental. And a Ford Galaxie 500XL convertible. And an Alfa GTV/Giuletta. And a Mercedes Benz 220 SEB. And a sweet BMW 3.0 2-door coupe, maybe even a 2002 tii or a 2002 Turbo if that pops up. Hell, even an E28 or E34 M5, with a little E30 M3 thrown in... and a 240 Z project... and an E-type restoration.

See what you've done... I've almost lost patience for the 911

Pickup truck collector bought it, stripped it and repainted it. No bondo, no accidents. 46k original on it. Original interior completely intact. Documentation back to day one.

Sorry for butting in but I'm pretty worked up.

    Good luck,
