    Driving lights replacement lenses

    Hi,

The owner of the shop doing my restoration offered me a set of thru the grill driving lights at a very good price, however one of the lenses is cracked. Is it easy to get a replacement lense? Are they expensive?

    Thanks,
    Neil

Lenses no longer available.....trust me, I've run EVERY part number in every part book for every 911 and 914. The only number that appears to be available is for the 914 fog light...which is smaller diameter than a driving light.

You might try MSRoadrace....at one time Dave had amber driving light lenses.

    Regards,

    Neilk,
I got a 914 lense from my local dealer. I put it in one of my lights and can not tell the difference. Then I put some of that Xpel lense protector on to minimize the road rash.

The Ebay link by 72Targa are the US version of the factory 911 fog light....

I've purchased a few of his items (not these), but he is very reputable....

But be aware...these lights are the 35watt tungsten bulb version....though I believe that you can now find a 50watt version....

I bought a set and they look gorgeous to me. I was amazed to get something as fast as I did from Germany...faster than some of the stuff people send me within the US!

Thanks for tips. I will see exactly what lights he is offering me and see whether I can get a lense for those. If not, the German guy's stuff looks good.
