Sherwood...there's a "blue" unwritten bylaw in the EarlyS Registry that refers to voluntary retirements. It states, "whereas board members seek voluntary dismissal of board of directors", the membership "at-large" may refuse his/her retirement.......hmmm
I make the motion.....blah,blah,blah
Seriously, Sherwood......."BRAVO" & THANK YOU !!
Curt, BRILLIANT! I feel we should consider Sherwood an "active reserve", one who can be called up in the case of board emergency. Do I hear any seconds?Originally Posted by curtisaa

I know it was a lot of work during the "attack" on the site. As I said then, and I say now, thank you.
We've been at the same place at the same time before, just never met. Looking forward to the event so I can say this personally.
Hi fellows. I'm back, though using my civilian handle. Thanks for the kinds words. I'm not that far away. It's that I don't have to troubleshoot as much as when I had the title. Now I can get wild and crazy and raise hell with you guys :-)
Curtis good to hear from you. Your activity on the board has been low key as of late. I know, busy autographing copies of the last Excellence, eh?
Sherwood
PS: Mike. (Mike Larson) our new webmaster. Are you out there? I'd like him to introduce himself. Or if he's too shy, maybe Chuck can.
Sherwood,
You are a class act.
Thanks for setting the stage AND raising the bar.

Well Sherwood, we're not losing you after all. That's great!
What you've done to grow this wonderful community is sincerely appreciated by us all. Thanks for your invaluable contribution to our enjoyment of the passion of the early 911s.
Heidi and I will be driving a couple of very special 911s to the German AutoFest and look forward to thanking you again in person there.
All the best as a civilian.
