    P2p

I just wanted to let everyone know that P2P was a lot of fun. I finally got the chance to meet a few of the people on this board, and we had a great time looking at the cars (less than expected) and driving the backroads of the area. I also wanted to thank JCR for taking the time to find a gathering place for us and showing us how to get there. By the way, I now know that I HAVE TO HAVE Sport Seats in my car!

The day started out a bit bleak.

    Here's JCR's recently lowered 73S, followed by TKO's 71S (EVERYBODY loves this color!), followed by jonnysocko's 71S.

It was a fun day - and we had a decent number of early rides there. Good to meet Jonnysocko (amazing we haven't crossed paths before this) and Dave (black Carrera cab). We missed you Brian... your RS would have caused a stir. Maybe next year.

You and me both Larry. So sorry I missed it too guys, but with the front wheel problems I couldn't drive that distance and also do the Rally. Anyone know of any Fall Porsche events in our part of the country? Thanks for sharing and yes Tom I do love the color of your car.

Actually, the SEM region of PCA does a fall color tour. JCR, Curt, TKO, Dave and I have already discussed it. I'll try to find the date and post it.

Larry, from what I understand it runs around southeast Michigan and is a great time. It breaks into 3 groups: slow, kinda fast, and going-to-jail fast ....

There's also another run up around Petosky / Harbor Springs area sometime in the fall. It's an overnighter. Some spectacular roads up there, including M119 (about 15 miles of rolling 2nd gear 1 1/2 lane twisties). Here's my Cayenne at speed on M119.
