    Does this look stupid?

Should I find some bumper fog light covers right away...or drive as an ST wannabe advertising the need for increased air flow at the front brakes?

I removed the factory Hella fogs this AM and boxed them for safe keeping. I have a set of through the grill driving lights in the works to provide a more useful light source.

Sooo, the fog lamp openings look unfinished and I should step up the search for some covers, or, "cool, I like that unfinished look?"

    Fire away please. Shawn.

I would either remove the sheet metal brackets for the foglights, or paint them black. The holes look fine, IMO. It's the mounting brackets that look a little funny.

    Wow

What a great looking car! LOVE that color.
As for the holes, I agree with Jack, it's the brackets that look unfinished.

    thanks, guys

Your comments follow my thoughts on that. The brackets are spot welded to the bumper. I would prefer not to cut them off. Painting them black is a simple solution that I didn't think of.

Thanks registry members. Jol, additional thanks for the photo work. Please continue to post your opinions.

    Shawn.

    one more pic...

the business end of the car. Pay no attention to the Gucci foam air filters, they are just another tool to assist the Webers in the desert heat.

This engine is a only a 2.2T. Shawn.

Since you are asking for other people's opinions ( ) I would say find the covers for the holes. Looks a touch unfinished to me.

Or...hand made grills to match the ones atop? Should you ever go with a cooler in the right fender, the fins could be slanted to direct air...if not an oil cooler, the front brakes?

I think they look OK blacked-out. To pull off the body-color brackets, I think you would need to go full-out as in this ST at Rennsport II:

Those holes are just cooling ducts waiting to happen, Shawn.
