    Thanks for the comments

I have just got back from the Porsche Club GB Festival held at Brands Hatch. There was a small but delectable selection of historic race cars on display and on demonstration laps around the track. I got a ride in my dream car, a 911R (prototype 3). It was a real priveledge to follow David Piper in his own 917, in convoy with another 917, a 356 Carrera, a 906, a 904/6, 2 911T/R, the Toad Hall Racing 911ST and various other historic early 911s. I have just added the pictures to my site

The 911R gets on the cam at just over 6000 rpm
