Great to see everyone at the track today! I'm going back for more punishment tomorrow.

Here are a few photos from today... I'm sure Jens has a ton more he will post when he gets home, but for now:

    Whoa...

That second car in the line (except for the chrome 'eye brows') looks JUST like what's in my garage !!!!! ...

    Very nice turn out guys...

    Jol or Don,

Tell me about the light yellow RS next to your cars. Is that Frank G.'s car, the one he had at Rennsport? Thanks for the photos of the event looks like fun.

    Light Yellow

    Brian,
Yes, that is Frank's car. It had just arrived this week. Man, is it clean!

    Monday... Race day

It turned out to be a glorious day at Lime Rock. Jens and Hedi came out to play, as did a few others. Carla drove the Schneller Frosch and I took the "beater." Man, those air coolers love the crisp air!

    Beater?

    Jol:

The word "beater" can't apply to an RS. Your wife's chartruse car is just flat beautiful and it must look better on the road at speed (oops sorry given your upcoming command performance at St of Ct revenue collection hq). I didn't get to see the white one but still wow!

Thanks to all you you who brought out these cars and drove to LRP...they are fine art but not in a static display. Form, sound, and movement are all parts of the beauty show.

How many of those beautiful Porsche driving machines hit the track in anger?
