phew - awesome pics jack. thank you. so much eye candy it's great to see such awesome cars all in one place. noticing lots of p scripts on the rocker panels and R tail lights. Rob's car got some bumper stripes since monterey - very nice touch. hope to see some more pics.

    Jack and John,

Thanks so much for the great photos. That is a very impresive turn out of early cars.

    Cris,

As in a military deployment, are you in the Nat. Guard? I wish you the best and for a safe return.

WOW!!! I just caught myself staring blankly at those photos for over an hour. Bums me out I couldn't make it out there (recovering from surgery) but these photos make it all better. My 71's in a state of rolling restoration and those pics have given me some great ideas. It's very difficult to picture some mods, but these shots really helped. You guys did a great job of shooting these.

I have more I'll post later when I get a chance to edit them down to the 100k limit. I was too tired last night - it was a 922 mile round trip for me, but well worth it - a great show.

    Some of the highlights -

Otis Chandler's new Carrera GT on Sunday - first one I'd seen up close

The 911 Politzei car leading in the various groups and escorting winners though with siren blasting.

A veritable easter egg basket of early 911's and 912's - every color and combination you could think of from bone stock original to outlaws, all looking good in the California sunshine. You think Jack posted a lot of pictures - and he did - but there was even more to see.

All the goodies - hopefully everyone found that part they were looking for - in my case, NOS driving lights.

The people - wish the cheerfulness and the cumulative knowledge of the cars in that one spot could be bottled somehow. The dictionary definition of enthusiasts.

    Lowlights -

The Train Wreck - couldn't believe it, I had just been standing looking at those cars a few hours earlier. Knowing the work that goes into getting cars to that level of perfection..............

The poor 912 guy - a beautiful green 912 - picked the wrong spot to park at his motel Saturday night. Someone cretin clipped his rear corner before he came out Sunday morning - no note on the windshield, no nothing. Wins the Keep On Trucking award for coming back Sunday, parking in the same spot and carrying on -
