    NOT good news...

Cross threading here...but it seems like the R Gruppe co-founder's car got involved in an accident. Damn! The T shirt oracle is right: "SH!T HAPPENS"

Time for a little perspective check...the car is sad, but another can, and probably will be built. Early 911 hotrods are a bit like deuce coupes...good ones being built all the time. I'm glad that it seems there is no serious injury or death involved. I'm also thinking SWB Sam would agree!

Any info from Mike Mascero...?? He's pretty close to Freeman...If there is any info appropriate to share, he'll surely have it.

Freeman is ok, but the car is not. The lady that caused it is ok too.

    Not good news

I met Freeman at the building when the truck unloaded his car. He is fine , the car took a real good hit to the left front . He said to tell all of you that the gas filler cap is in good shape, but the hood is dead, as well as the front bumper, left front fender, and misc. other parts. The window hit the street after the impact, but he did save both of the road lights!! He said he would sell the impacted parts for a good price!?!

Like Jens said... both are OK

Mike said Freeman said 'center punch'
Body work - a little suspension damage - probably be out of commission for awhile...

I was with Freeman most of the day and I didn't find out about this until I got home and saw this post, I took these pic's about ten minutes before the accident, I'm glad to here everyone is OK, having been in a bad one I know what it feels like but as they say, cars can be replaced, people can't.
