    purchase questions on 68 (L?)

I am looking a 68 (advertised al L). Although from my reading, I thought that the L for the US market was just like the S...sans the engine. Therefore brakes, full carpet and S trim should be there...right? Anyone have other references beside the Redbook and Peter Morgans porsche 911 book to run a few numbers for me? THanks

Just direct email me at mjmoran@earthlink.net

this has been dicussed a few times with some very thorough replies on pelican. i'd ck there but for the most part - you're correct. my L has vented brakes and the elephant hyde dashboard. my L is also far from original.
