I get them made at: https://www.licenseplates.tv/

My plates are just for display. In TN if you have an antique registered car and keep the TN plate inside the car, you can display any plate that would represent original year of manufacture.

    SWB, Nothing better....

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/124622297226 . . .

    . . . from the '68 thru '69 PDLs . . .

    Catron Motors, Inc
    800 E Holt Ave
    Pomona, CA 91766

    . . . then from '70 thru '72 . . .

    Catron Porsche Audi
    770 W Holt Ave
    Pomona, etc
    . . .

Not my frame, not seen/touched this bit in the metal, don't know the Seller (though I have a hunch), but . . .

    . . . here are my thoughts/opinions/etc regarding

Catron is another Old Time Dealer --- known mostly for Volkswagens, I believe? . . . in business since before '56 . . .
    https://www.thesamba.com/vw/archives..._pomona_ca.php

There are several styles of their frames around. I mostly see a blue-with-yellow-letters version. Not particularly rare but --- not a lot get offered for sale. Not sure why

Anyway, this particular version is interesting in that it has some 'banding' mid-way up both verticals --- something that I don't see very often . . . which I'm guessing was mostly done before 1965 . . . could be even WAY before

The frame also appears to be un-restored and still looks like it's retained traces of its original red + white finish

As for the price, I suspect that the majority of interested/potential Buyers are Volkswageneers looking to dress-up their cars/garages with what appears to be a rather nice + un-molested OG frame . . . and tend to get shy dropping that kinda dosh for a bangle on their bug

    356ers? --- maybe less-so . . . but they're a older demographic and, well . . . if it doesn't say 'Porsche'? . . . = tough sell

If this were mine to sell? . . .

. . . I'd take it to the Lit Meet or the North/South Show . . . and see what people think

Short Version = nice bit but super-small audience
