Surprised there hasn't been a Hoffman frame posted in the 13 years of this thread.

As far as I've been able to tell, Mr Von Neuman started-out in Hollywood, then ended-up in Culver City, but, in-between, spent some time in Woodland Hills. (None of these places are all-that close-together, btw)
Anyway, from looking at the pre-'67 Type I in the forecourt --- + going by the license frame . . . the 'showroom' picture looks to be the store on Ventura Blvd. The older 'car lot' picture --- from the late '50s? . . . I would guess to be from (one of?) the Hollywood address(es?) . . . pics appended --- from The Samba
Like looking at a different planet

Chick Iverson, Inc
Various addresses . . .
..1) Starting @Newport + 22nd St ('68-69)
..2) 900 Pacific Coast Highway ('70)
..3) 445 PCH ('70-72)
Newport Beach, CA
Could write a book about this Guy --- more, later . . . meanwhile
Unique marigold letter-boxes w/ un-painted lettering, flash-chromed, pebbly-textured backrounds + finely-scribed corners = classic signature RWB&Co; plate = std CA pass, etc, etc.
I've seen Iversons for years --- but usually/more-commonly in another 'checkerboard' style. It was only when Roger Grago turned-up a 'garage-find' coupe, some years back (see post #206, et al), that I saw what I take to be a genuine OG frame
All of these locations are now some of the priciest real estate in the county. Ferrari has his 2nd location. And Newport Beach Porsche Audi sits at his last
Another threade . . .

Glen Porsche Audi, Corporation

Middletown, NY, 10940
Semi-matte white lettering in med-blue letter-boxes; no Makers' name/ID; plate = std NY pass etc, etc. 'PO' = Dutchess County. From a '70 911 'T' sold there, new. Stored away for decades --- + in excellent condition for it
Interesting detail is the '+.' I've never been sure exactly when this character came into regular use (or if it ever did) --- it only really shows up after 1972 (on the race cars, anyway) . . . yet, here it is in 1970

Ted McWilliams Porsche Audi, Inc

Monroeville, PA 15235
Matt white lettering in finely-pebbled/raised bordered/med-gray-blued letterboxes, flash-chromed, no Makers' marks or ID; plate = std PA pass-iss, etc
No details --- as usual. Just a ginormous mini-mart-cum-gas-station there, now
Did find this/though --- kindova kool video of Monroeville . . . that kinda gives some '70s flavor
