George - I'm amazed at your post - I never expected to hear you state :

"When push comes to shove, this is only a car..."

    - but I have to say that I wholly concur with that statement. These cars inevitably become very dear to us but when it comes down to it, they are only cars (albeit very special ones) & in the final scheme of things there are certain other areas of life that, at times, become more important...

I know how important this car is to you & thus how difficult it must have been to reach this decision - I'm sure that you will have no problems finding the right person to pass it on to (or any problems getting a very good price).

    Hi George,

I know this is a big decision for you and MC, but I have to agree with you that when push comes to shove owning your home is more important than the ownership of the RS, as hard as it may seem. A view like this of the valley from the back yard of your very own home is worth an awful lot.

Can you teach me German and French?

Hey George, sorry to hear that the RS might go, but then again, having the workshop right downstairs is really a treat. I wouldn't have it any other way! It's not Switzerland though.

It's important to get your place squared away, then fill it with cars!

The announcement that you were thinking of selling is difficul to handle. However I know exactly what you mean especially where you live....

I hope it all works out for you.

    Remember? . . .

'Nobody kept these cars. Or even drove them, it seems --- at least not on these threads.

They got 'em, used 'em to get somewhere --- figuratively, maybe financially?. . . then moved on.'

    Sold to Someone.

    Then Someone Else.

    Then?

And how many miles since?. . .
