    Kermit's Coming home SOON!!

    Guys, the end (or is it the beginning) is near!!! Kermit is going to be ready for the final PPI and road test next week. The fabric is going to be in my hands Thursday, and off to Autos. Here's hoping that Autos gets the seats done next week. If that falls into place (and there is no reason to believe that it will!! LOL) I should be in Connecticut near the end of October to bring Kermit home.

    Here are a couple of the latest shots. The engine was dropped in Friday. The interior is nearly together, In this shot, you can see that the door panel is in place, dash together, windshield in, and he's ready to install the carpeting.

    Rear Window

    Here's the rear window, in place with full chrome trim, and the appropriate Weltmeister decal (courtesy of the 911S Registry). The rear seats are in place, rear tray, etc.

    On his own Feet!!

    Chrome wheel trim, and that turbo oil cooler!! And Kermit is standing on his own feet. And look at those Fuchs!!!

    If schedule holds, looks like I'll be driving him before November hits!!!!

    Perhaps a bit premature, but my public congrats to Larry...it seems that most of the anxiety moments are behind him! Oh hell, I can't resist...an old old rock song line here: "Hats off to Larry".
