    Rally parts and tools bin

    Hello all,

The 69 Targa lightweight just got on the ground last week. One short run and back to the shop for more tweaking and some dyno time. One thing we'd like to add is the parts and tool bin that the rally cars had against the firewall. Ernie has two good pictures of one in the back of the first R in his website. Does anyone have one that he or she would be willing to measure, describe, and/or photograph for me? I'm in Cincinnati; I'd drive a long way to see one if there are any within driving range. If not, does anyone know of other pictures of one?

    Thanks in advance,

    Alan

Alan - Don Ahearn (Rennman) has one in his '68 Rallye.

Check out the pictures on his website: http://www.porsport.com

    Thanks

    Andy,

Thanks very much. One of the pictures is a closeup that helps a lot. Anyone else with pictures or other information?

    Alan
