Correct front bumper - ROW 69S

I have decided to go to the correct front bumper for my 69S and a tail-less deck lid. As the car is a European spec car imported here in 1984, am I correct in presuming that the bumper would not have had bumper guards from the factory. I have 68S, originally supplied in France. It has optional bumper guards and spotlights

Thanks Nick - so those were an option? I have a set of decent bumper guards with the bumper I just bought, but as it needs to be painted and installed I was thinking of leaving the guards off.

They are listed on my C. of A. as an option for my '69S

On a related note, what should the rear decklid look like - I presume the grille is aluminum in color, but what about the script. I looked at Nick's web site and his car shows a chrome 911S under the grille and then a chrome Porsche along the base. Is this the same for 69?

According to Doctor Johnson the 69 had gold lettering, still available from Tweeks, Stoddard etc.
